Kingsman

Kingsman is an early maincrop variety producing excellent yields of long-oval tubers with pale yellow flesh. Kingsman is well suited for pre-pack ware production producing tubers with an excellent bright skin finish with shallow eyes. Higher dry matter [typically 22%] than Estima giving good taste and eating qualities which are well received by the consumer.

Kingsman has consistently excelled in a number of pre-packers variety trial sites over a number of years as well as in overseas trials. Kingsman has out-yielded Spuntam Desiree and Hermes in trials in North-Africa and Spain. In UK trials, Kingsman has typically yielded 115% of Maris Piper with 35-45% :baker" content.
