EDISON

Edison is a maincrop, high yielding french fries variety with cream skin and flesh colour. Even after long term storage it shows an excellent frying quality. Edison is suitable for French fries, home fries, table potatoes including bakers, roasted potatoes. It is of cooking type B. Edison produces big, very uniform oval to long-oval tubers and shows very good resistances to blackleg, late blight, Rhizoctonia, internal rust spot and bruising. It is tolerant towards PVY and PVY^ntn.
